In Germany, the AEO application will be submitted via the "Internetantrag AEO" (IAEO) in the customs portal from March 1, 2023, according to the German customs administration.
In the future, after logging into the customs portal, the “Grenzüberschreitender Warenverkehr“ service must first be called up and the AEO Internet application selected there. In the new IAEA, all required file attachments (questionnaires, etc.) can be attached to the authorization application in digital form and thus in the future can be submitted online together with the authorization application.
