ATLAS: Customs authorisations, Russia sanctions, procedural instructions and more

In a series of ATLAS messages, the Federal Information Technology Centre (ITZBund) informs about changes affecting the ATLAS system. In addition, Customs informs about a new procedural instruction on the IT procedure ATLAS.

Applications for customs authorisations

In ATLAS-Info 0416/23 you can find out which authorisations can be applied for via the EU Trader Portal or via the Form Management System (FMS) of the Federal Finance Administration at the responsible main customs office. More info…

Russia Sanctions: New codings

In the context of the extension of sanctions measures against Russia, the Directorate General of the EU Commission (TAXUD) publishes new codings for the declaration that an old treaty provision is being invoked or that the prohibitions do not apply. More info…

Trade in goods with Turkey

For customs declarations with declared country of dispatch "Turkey" and requested benefit "400", the declaration of document "N018" or "4EEQ" is required. Currently, an error message occurs if only one of the two documents is declared. According to the ITZBund, both certificates N018 and 4EEQ should be registered as a workaround until the error is corrected. More info…
