On 23.06.2022, the Informationstechnikzentrum Bund provided information in an ATLAS-Info on the procedure of the enquiry request (see AWB-News of 28.06.2022). In addition to this, an ATLAS-Info points out the following:
For cases in which the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) is unable to respond to the search request in the follow-up procedure within 135 days after release for the export procedure because an alternative proof is not yet available, the confirmation of exit will be carried out manually by the customs office of export as of the 136th day. For this purpose, the AEO notifies the customs office of export in writing or by e-mail that exit has taken place for an export declaration (MRN) and that the alternative proof is available. In individual cases, alternative proofs must still be submitted at the request of the customs office.
