US sanctions: Expansion against Russian industries

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has published a rule that builds on the rule issued on 3 March 2022 on sanctions against Russian industry by expanding the scope of goods subject to strict licensing requirements. The tightened US export controls cover, for example, wood products and construction equipment.

Among other things, the US measures are designed to deprive the Russian government of additional tools, equipment and resources it needs to continue its military aggression against Ukraine. Read more...
