The manual Export Licences, Licence Codes, Electronic Write-off has been updated as of 1 February 2025. It provides comprehensive information on the online declaration and write-off of exports subject to authorisation. It also provides an overview of the export licence codes relevant under foreign trade law.
The fact sheet provides information on forms of authorisation and export authorisation requirements under foreign trade law. In addition, a chapter is dedicated to deliveries to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and to Helgoland.
The fact sheet also deals with export licence codes under foreign trade law and negative export codes under foreign trade law. The publication also provides information on the ‘zero notifications’ issued by the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control.
An additional reference to the new version of the EU Firearms Regulation has been included in the current version. In addition, the coding Y882 has been added to the import section.
Due to the current geopolitical situation, Annex 2: Foreign trade law codes for imports from or originating in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine (specified areas) has been added to the manual.
