So far, there are no TARIC measures for certain types of copper scrap or cullet. New national document codes have therefore been created.
These are the following new document codes:
- 8GIZ "Declaration of conformity (copper scrap) in accordance with the model in Annex II in conjunction with Art. 4 (1) Commission Regulation (EU) No. 715/2013 of July 25, 2013"
and
- 8GIY "Declaration of conformity (broken glass) in accordance with the model in Annex II in conjunction with Art. 4 (1) of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1179/2012 of December 10, 2012"
By issuing the declaration of conformity, the importer or manufacturer declares that the consignment fulfills all criteria of the respective end-of-waste regulations. The declaration of conformity must be declared in the customs declaration for placing the goods under a customs procedure with the relevant document coding C058, 8GIY or 8GIZ. The declaration of conformity must only be submitted to the customs office if it is requested by the customs office for control purposes.
