As of 1 January 2022, the import control measure for fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases) has been restructured (see AWB News of 05.01.2022). In addition to this, an ATLAS-Info points out the following:
For the TARIC measure type 724 ("Control of import of fluorinated greenhouse gases"), the already existing conditions have been extended, so that since 01.01.2022 additional information is required for customs clearance.
For this purpose, the EU Commission (Directorate General TAXUD) has introduced new TARIC document codes for the declaration of declarations. In addition, the text of existing codes (Y926, Y950, Y951) has been adapted.
Depending on the import goods and the conditions to be met during import, up to five document codes must be declared in the customs declaration. New codes have been available for the declaration in ATLAS since 01.01.2022. These can be found in the following ATLAS-Info.
