For the import of goods originating in Seychelles into the EU, the "approved exporter" system will be replaced by the "registered exporter" system as of 1 July 2023.
This is announced by the German Customs Administration on its website.
The Communication refers to a Communication of the European Commission of 27 April 2023 on the proof of origin for imports into the European Union of products originating in Seychelles under the stepping stone Economic Partnership Agreement between the EU and Eastern and Southern African States, valid from 1 July 2023, published in Official Journal (EU) C 145.
