When submitting simplified customs declarations and notification messages (vZA/AZ), the transmission of details regarding the consignor or exporter is not currently required as a matter of principle.
However, this information is mandatory for the processing of certain CERTEX documents. This applies to a number of F-GAS documents as well as the ODS document L100.
Therefore, details of the consignor/exporter must be submitted using the following document codes at the header level of the vZA/AZ:
• 9DFO Consignor/Exporter (Name)
• 9DFP Consignor/Exporter (Street and house number)
• 9DFQ Consignor/Exporter (Country)
• 9DFR Consignor/Exporter (Postcode)
• 9DFS Consignor/Exporter (Town/City)
It is no longer necessary to provide additional details in the ‘Additional declaration details’ field. Customs declarations (vZA/AZ) in which this information is missing will not be accepted or will be rejected.
