Since August 1, 2025, the EU and Canada have mutually recognized their Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) programs.
Companies with AEO status in the EU (AEOS/AEOF) and participants in Canada's PIP (Partners in Protection) program now benefit from simplified customs procedures and easier security checks on imports.
The aim of the agreement is to strengthen the international supply chain, increase security in global goods traffic, and promote closer cooperation between customs authorities.
