The „Leaflet on customs declarations, summary declarations and re-export notifications“ has been updated and published on the website of the German customs administration. It has replaced the 2023 edition since 1 January 2024.
The leaflet contains binding specifications for completing customs declarations and the data fields required for the respective procedure.
The following changes are noted in the preliminary remarks to the 2024 edition:
A chapter on the data requirements for a transit declaration using an electronic transport document in air transport has been added to Title II, Section II.
In Title IV, the data requirements for the exit summary declaration and the re-export notification have been included following the introduction of the WKS IT procedure. The introduction of ICS2 Release 3, which is particularly relevant for maritime transport, has also been taken into account.
