German Customs Administration provides information on the impact of the Ukraine crisis

The German Customs Administration provides information on its website about customs duties, foreign trade law and prohibitions and restrictions in connection with the Ukraine crisis (as of 17.03.2022).

In the area of customs, the General Customs Directorate provides information on aid deliveries or donations to Ukraine via Poland. The generally applicable customs regulations must also be observed for donations in emergency situations, such as non-commercial aid deliveries. The customs administration also provides information on simplified declaration options.

With regard to the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, the Council of the European Union has ordered far-reaching financial and economic sanctions as well as restrictive measures against certain natural and legal persons, entities and bodies in Russia, Belarus and parts of Ukraine. Due to the Ukraine crisis, the Federal Republic of Germany has issued facilitations for the import and export of goods that are subject to prohibitions and restrictions.
