Supply Chain Sourcing Obligations Act (LkSG): The Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA) has published a handout on the principle of adequacy according to the requirements of the LkSG.
The BAFA document explains the principle of adequacy as defined by the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act and provides guidance on its practical implementation. This includes, among other things, the establishment and continuous implementation of risk management, the identification, weighting and prioritization of human rights and environmental risks, and the selection and implementation of preventive measures.
