A new version of the Combined Nomenclature (CN) will come into force in January 2025.
The changes compared with the previous year are labelled on the left-hand side of the table as follows:
• Star = new code number
• Square = code number with changed content
This year's changes and adjustments affect goods such as sharks and shark fins, tomatoes, biofuels, liquid urea, wood waste and laminate flooring, as well as trade in information technology goods.
In the coming weeks, the Federal Statistical Office will publish the new edition of the list of goods for foreign trade statistics as well as an overview of the changes.
