In response to the death of Alexei Navalny and the second anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the USA has imposed further sanctions against Russia.
The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has added 93 more companies to the Entity List and updated the list of sanctioned high priority goods. This list includes dual-use goods and advanced technology used in Russian military systems.
In addition, the U.S. government has published guidance for companies on the risks of doing business in the Russian Federation and Russian-occupied territories in Ukraine.
